Results of the XII scientific and practical conference with international participation “DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF HEMATOLOGIC DISEASES”

On May 11-12, 2023, the Association of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine of Ukraine (ACCLMU) and the NGO “Society of Hematologists of Ukraine”, with the support of the Department of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics of the P.L. Shupyk’s National University of Health Care of Ukraine, “Feofania” Clinical Hospital of the State Affairs Administration of Ukraine, State Institution “National Scientific Center of Radiation Medicine of the National Medical University of Ukraine”, National Cancer Institute, State Institution “Institute of Blood Pathology and Transfusion Medicine of the National Medical University of Ukraine” (Lviv, Ukraine), Department of Internal Medicine No. 1 of the O.O. Bogomolets’ National Medical University, and the “City Doctor” clinic, the XII scientific and practical conference with international participation “DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF HEMATOLOGIC DISEASES” was held in online format on the basis of the electronic educational platform “Open Likar” and in offline format at the Favor Hotel, Kyiv, Ukraine.
Hematologists, oncologists, histologists, radiologists, and medical laboratory specialists took part in the conference.
The event was moderated by Prof. S. Klymenko, Head of the Department of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics, Head of the Center for Hematology, Chemotherapy of Hemoblastosis, and Bone Marrow Transplantation of the “Feofania” Medical Center, ACCLMU President.
Leading domestic and foreign specialists in hematology, oncology, and laboratory medicine were invited as speakers.
During the event, attention was paid to current problems of modern hematology, in particular acute leukemia, myeloproliferative neoplasia, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, hemophilia, chronic lymphocytic leukemia and multiple myeloma, prevention and treatment of complications of hematological diseases, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, development of bone marrow transplantation in Ukraine and worldwide.
For participation in the seminar, participants were awarded 10 CPD points in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated February 22, 2019 No. 446.
