ACCLMU President Ganna Luneva and ACCLMU Responsible Person for Work with Youth Kheylomska Tetyana participated in the seminar “Training on strategic management: Development of national laboratory policy and strategic laboratory plan. The implementation, monitoring, and evaluation”, organized and conducted by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine together with the USA Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Association of public health laboratories (USA; APHL) within the framework of the implementation of the Global agenda on health safety (direction “System of national laboratories”) and Urgent action plan on combating AIDS (PEPFAR) during November 7-11, 2016, in the Kyiv city.
The seminar program covers general issues of laboratory systems functioning and public health laboratories, and also learning the experience of different countries in the implementation of the main objectives of the national laboratory systems in the area of supervision of diseases, epidemiological researches, and response to emergencies.
Participation of the ACCLMU experts in this seminar will strengthen the Ukrainian laboratory system, will help in development of laboratory policies, in creation and implementation of strategic plan for development and interaction of laboratory networks.
