The basic modern requirements for the accuracy of clinical laboratory tests and proposals for their establishment in Ukraine are discussed. The value of laboratory medicine and its constant growth is shown together with the importance of getting the right test results, as well as their correct interpretation.
The approach to establishing the requirements for the accuracy of clinical laboratory tests in Ukraine, provides that the requirements of the levels will be selected by means of a compromise between, on the one hand, today’s possibilities of CDL in Ukraine, and on the other – of clinical needs (goals).
