EFLM survey on lipoprotein(A) measurement in medical laboratories

THE SURVEY WILL REMAIN OPEN TILL 31 JANUARY 2025

We would like to invite you to take part in a European survey on the current practice of lipoprotein(a) measurement in medical laboratories. Lipoprotein(a) has been identified as cardiovascular risk factor several decades ago, and this has been amply confirmed again in the last decade.

Measurement of lipoprotein(a) and reporting of results are currently quite heterogeneous. The aim of this survey is to obtain a representative picture of the current practice in Europe. This will permit targeted actions to improve harmonization of preanalytical, analytical and postanalytical procedures.

Your laboratory may receive more than one invitation to participate in the survey but we would kindly ask you to make only one submission per laboratory.

The survey will be open until 31 January 2025.
It will take approx. 15-20 minutes to complete the survey.

This survey is created by the Working Group „Vascular Risk Biomarkers“ of the European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (EFLM).
