Snezana Jovicic

Snežana Jovičić, a specialist in medical biochemistry, EuSpLM, graduated at the Faculty of Pharmacy, the University of Belgrade in 2002, where she also completed her specialist studies in medical biochemistry, and her Ph.D. Immediately after graduation, she started her internship at the Institute of Medical Biochemistry, Clinical Centre of Serbia, where she works still, from 2012 at the position of the Head of the Department at the Clinic for Cardiac Surgery. Since 2008 she is engaged as the part-time Teaching Assistant at the Department for Medical Biochemistry of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade. Dr. Snežana Jovičić is an active member of the Society of Medical Biochemists of Serbia (SMBS), where she acts as the Secretary of the Executive Board. From 2011 she was the Managing Editor, and from 2020 she is the Co-editor of the Journal of Medical Biochemistry, the official journal of the Society of Medical Biochemists of Serbia. Dr. Snežana Jovičić is the Chair of the EFLM Patient Focused Laboratory Medicine Working Group, the Corresponding Member of the Working Group Register, and also the Liaison member from the SMBS in the IFCC eNewsletter Working Group. She is the EFLM EB Secretary for 2022-23. |
